No problems with DVD's did what it said on the box April 17, 2007 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Further to the previous review complaining that "this prohibits copying content of a cd/dvd".
The actual wording is
"Please note that since local law or end-user agreements prohibit copying content of a CD/DVD, this software will not inherently backup encrypted or copy-protected DVD's and is not to be used for unauthorised duplication of copyrighted materials in any way. If in doubt, please check with the copyright owner of the original to make sure that copying is permissible. Violations of copyright or other intellectual property rights are liable to claims for damages and criminal prosecution."
"Movies in the public domain, movie trailers, certain commercial DVD's, your own home movies and content recorded on a domestic DVD recorder are typically not encrypted."
ie. it will quite happily COPY DVD's provided they are not encrypted!
Very happy with this product!
excellent product. January 5, 2007 17 out of 18 found this review helpful
I thought i would take a chance on buying this product and i wasn't dissapointed,I have successfully transfered 4 dvds to my 80gb ipod and the quality is very good,it does take a long time to convert the films to an ipod friendly format, but this could be due to my pc being a few years old,my only gripe was that when i received the product the last part of the code was missing(its a 5 part code and i only had 4 parts)the people at GSP are aware of this, they were very apologetic and sent me the last part of the code via email within 24hrs,all i can say if you have an ipod video and are wanting to get some films on to it give this product a try.
Serial number disgrace January 5, 2007 11 out of 22 found this review helpful
Unbelievable!!!!! I received my software in the post yesterday and much like the customer below the serial number was missing the last set of digits. They claim it is down to where the serial number stickers are cut off by the machine. How then, knowing that this problem is occurring, they don't have a quality control sector checking to make sure the entire number is there staggers belief.
Also, the way that you can only get the remaining serial number by e-mail and not a helpline is a disgrace. I have brought the software and now I have to sit around until they deem it necessary to sort out my inconvenience.
THIS FIRM IS A HIGHLY INEFFICIENT AND AMATEUR ENTITY AND THEIR PRODUCTS DON'T DESERVE TO BE BROUGHT!!!!

Movie Converter for PSP & iPod November 18, 2006 10 out of 20 found this review helpful
I can`t give a review on this program part of the serial number is missing, and it wont run. GSP knows about this you have to contact their support for the rest of the number ,they will send it by e mail, god knows when that will be, sort it out you amateurs.
