We originally bought this because we were fed up with having to blend soup in little batches in our normal jug style blender. I didn't think we'd use the accessories much, but a couple of months down the line and we've used them all. The jug is great for smoothies and its tupperware-like top makes the jug really useful in itself. The turbo boost is hardly ever necessary as the normal speed blends things in very little time. The fact that all the messy bits can go in the dishwasher is excellent. The only tiny complaint I'd have is that our dishwasher seems not to be able to clean right to the bottom of the jug, but I'm sure that's more to do with our dishwasher than the blender! Since we got this blender we've made smoothies a lot more often than we used to, just because it's so easy, quick and mess-free. Highly recommended.

This is our "family blender" at home and it is used for almost everything including milkshakes, omlettes, pancakes, batter-mix, purees, curry pastes, soups and breadcrumbs. Although I mainly use the primary "stick blender", the chopper attachment is brilliant for mincing onions etc. fast. Turbo function is more powerful but, not something you tend to need all the time. Everything goes in the dishwasher. Just a very good all-rounder.

I bought this hand blender for the sole purpose of puree-ing baby food, and to be honest, having never owned one before I was not sure it was going to be man enough for the job. I am more than pleased with this item, it blends/chops and purees very well (and in seconds!) and is easy to put together with the required attachment and to clean. Since buying it I have blended/chopped/pureed everything in sight!!!
