no stopwatch, wrong instuctions. April 16, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have received this watch today. It does not have a stopwatch function as per written description and the instruction notes are for the wrong watch. The date is set incorrectly and after phoning Accurist for help they told me this was an old model, they do not have any instructions for this watch but a technician could talk me through how to change date. Pull winder knob to halfway position, turn knob gently anti-clockwise to adjust second figure and gently clockwise to adjust first figure. Wristband is quite small but fits me OK but I probably do have smallish wristbone for a woman. There is space of 1 to 2 cm beyond the wristband holes to make a hole of your own if you wanted to, but how good this would look I'm not sure.
Good Value for quality December 1, 2007 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
Looks better in real life. I have had it for a year. I have worn it in many situations and still no scratches. Yeah the wrist band is small but it should fit any young man.Lol
Small wrist band! November 22, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This watch is lovely and looks great but only just fit me so there is no way it would fit my boyfriend who it was bought for. Shame as the watch is perfect and very well made. Not for a man's wrists though.
small wrists! July 13, 2007 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
I purchased this watch, and as an average size female did not expect any problems with the size of the strap. Unfortunately, the strap has been made for someone with extremely small wrists. I cant see how any man would be able to wear this watch.
Made for small garden pixies January 24, 2007 28 out of 31 found this review helpful
This watch, although, looking very nice, and of a good build quality is not made for men. Rather it is made for people with wrists which are about 4" in circumferance, the clasp wouldnt even get near the last hole to be able to do it up.... will be going back asap.
