Not just gay erotica October 14, 2003

The quality of this DVD, the sound and cinematography are excellent. The setting is beautiful and the director used the natural beauty around him to develop his story. This is not just another gay erotica full of naked men (although there are sufficient beautiful naked men!) There is actually a love story that can be followed. The frustration of a "closet" gay man to decide between his girlfriend and his affection for Johan Paulik comes out strongly in the film. Lovers of Johan Paulik will certainly enjoy Summer, The First Time. His acting has dramatically improved from his traditional gay films. Well worth it and a must for the lover of gay erotica.
