This book is a delightful mix of the written word and the accumulation of the finest photographs I have seen of Hadrians Wall Country. Through these photographs I felt that Roger Clegg - through his depth of love and passion for this bleak and beautiful landscape - captured the book's title of `The Spirit of Hadrians Wall'. Congratulations to Roger Clegg and Mark Richards on producing such a wonderful book.
