I bought this for my wife as she loved Sonic and Alex the Kidd when she was younger.
She loves it! And I'm sure she'd give it a full 5 stars, it gets four stars from me though as even when the Megadrive was out I was still a ZX Spectrum kid at heart.
If they ever bring out a ZX Spectrum version of these plug and play jobbies then I'll be ready to dish out five of those big boys.
The music and the speed of gameplay is exactly how we remember it - this is a great gadget to kill some time with nostalgia!

The greatest retro games and the coolest controllers that take you straight back to the golden days of the Sega Megadrive. The beauty of these games is that you don't need a console to experience them - just plug them straight into your AV ports on your TV.
Volume 2 in the series contains 6 superior quality Megadrive classics: Sonic 2, Ecco the Dolphin, Gain Ground, The Ooze, Columns & Alex Kid and The Enchanted Castle.
It is worth buying for the sheer addictiveness of Columns or the stunning speed of Sonic 2.
