Psp video and games on t.v with component leads June 5, 2008 Yes this lead works fine. Games are not full screen, but definately bigger than the PSP screen, depending on your HD tv. Movies work great however the sound is limited to your tv speakers, you could connect to an AV-receiver with component connectors(e.g Onkyo TX-SR505e) and have surround sound. Main point when you connect this lead to PSP is to go to the Connected display settings(PSP menu) to set display out to big screen. No more holding the PSP in your aching hands whilst watching the odd movie. All said and done remember it is a Playstation -portable-.
Does what it says February 11, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
First to make this absolutly clear, though it states it on the description anyway, this is for the psp 2000 series (otherwise known as the psp slim) as the old fat psp does not have the video out port required to use this product.
The reason it will not go full screen is more down to the firmware which sony could correct in the future, needless to say playing a game on my hdtv is still a fantastic experience with the psp hooked up despite the black borders.
This is a solid product which I would suggest to anyone wanting their psp games on tv to buy.
Misconnection! December 29, 2007 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
The connector is the wrong way around for the PSP so it will not fit! Pretty basic flaw! How can such a basic error be made by the manufacturer?
Usability zero November 7, 2007 3 out of 17 found this review helpful
I just received this cable and had really high hopes, unfortunately they were dashed as the connecter is the wrong way round for the station on my PSP. The stations are different on the original PSP to the new Slim & Lite version, so the cable needs to be made universal in it usability. I cannot get the plug to fit as the wiring is in the way and consequently on the wrong side. There is no alternative but to send it back and my Tomb Raider game will have to wait. I am very disapponted as I thought that the research for this product would have been done already so that my disappointment and that of others would never have occurred. Try again and get it right 'Snakebyte'. Switch the wiring casing around and you will hit the jackpot on Gaming.

This cable does exactly what it says it does ... Allows you to play your PSP on your TV. To the below reviewer i'm not sure what you was expecting this cable to do. In order for it to play full screen on your 30+ inch TV it would need to stretch the graphics incredibly and would look horrible.
The cable is just there so you can play on your TV.
The cable works on a 16:9 or a 4:3 Ratio which is a lot better than your PSP screen :)
Maybe in a few years time we will have handheld consoles that can produce graphics like the PS3... but for now, this is a brilliant cable which does exactly what we need for the PSP.
5 stars for the performance of the cable and 5 stars for the design and looks of the cable. Hope this helps.
