Lego continue their Star Wars releases with another of their Battle Pack kits in the Limited Edition Separatist Spider Droid.
The Homing Spider Droid stands 16 cm high (from feet to upper gun), with a foot span of 26 cm across and 21 deep. The legs can pivot at the body joint with an arc of 90 degrees for each leg. The main joint on each leg allow for a lot of movement in towards the body and you can fold all four right in to make the droid squat down. The upper cannon rotates a full 360 degrees and the lower one can ratchet up and down.
You get a grand total of five figures with the droid which are great for army building.
The Clone Trooper has new detailing on the body and now has a removable helmet so you can see the clone's face underneath. The helmet has holes in the side into which you can attach rangefinders, visors or helmet torches and he comes armed with a black blaster rifle.
Commander Fox is a great clone figure. His helmet has holes in to attach a rangefinder, visor or helmet torch. He has a grey waistcoat, grey shoulder pouldron and is armed with 2 grey DC-17P pistols and a black blaster rifle.
The Super Battle Droid is the same type that you get in 2007's 7654 Droid's Battle Pack. He comes armed with a black blaster rifle.
The Battle Droid Commander is the same as the one in 2008's 7670 Hailfire Droid and Spider Droid and also comes armed with a black blaster rifle.
The kit takes about 10 minutes to build and is great for all those who want to build up their Separatist Armies.
